The young prince crumpled the note in his hand and sat on the edge of his bed. Life had not been good since he had been sent to stay on this ship, in the middle of nowhere, listening to reports of battles against Vanderveer. His father's stupid war. He sighed and leaned against his bed. He didn't want to be involved in the kidnapping of an innocent man...

The dark helicopter waited for him and he quickly stepped inside. It was rather crowded, with a team of 20 or so men inside the huge contraption. One walked up and grabbed Chris by the shoulder.
"You're not going into a dangerous situation. You are going to stay here. If you leave, you could be killed. Do you understand?"
"Yes..." Chris said quietly. He was not a military man. He wanted to go back home to his books and his politics...Anger began to boil within him once more.
The choppers all took off at once, swiftly moving towards the Palace of the CEO. Chris could hear the shouting of commands over the radio and soon saw the lights of houses and buildings below go out. They had cut the power to the entire state!
They landed only a stone's throw from the building, which was much smaller than expected. The soldiers filed out and Chris quietly closed his eyes, praying that no lives would be lost.

The CEO of Vorarlberg looked out his window. The buzz of electricity had awoken him. His bedside clock was off and the lights were not working. Suddenly, the sound of rushing air could be heard in the distance. He fled the room and went to the security team barracks. Why weren't they awake yet? Perhaps the electricity had cut off all the alarm systems...
Two guards were awake but had not yet heard the choppers descending upon them. As they awoke the rest of the team, Chris entered the room, which was full of bunk beds. The officers dressed and ran out quickly, taking up strategic positions all around the choppers. The sound of gunshots filled the air soon after.

The doors burst open and 5 or 6 men ran towards Christopher. He stood as regally as he could manage.
"This is illegal breaking and entering. Please leave my home this instant." He remembered wondering if they thought him crazy just before a horrible pain in his head stopped all thought. He vaguely felt himself being put into a bag of some sort, and after that, darkness. The CEO of Vorarlberg had failed and his state was without a leader.
